VCX301

VMETRO is shipping the VCX301, a 3U VPX (VITA 46) carrier for XMC mezzanines. The XMC P15/P16 signals are routed to the backplane which determines the overall system topology. XMCs supporting both P15 and P16 connectors can take advantage of the VCX301's architecture to route data at up to 5 GB/s.

MM-1200

VMETRO’s MM-1200 is a 6U VPX (VITA 46) intelligent I/O carrier board which enables direct interfacing from a Serial RapidIO (sRIO) based fabric to onboard devices like PMC and XMC sites, large amounts of SDRAM and the CoSine System-on-Chips. The MM-1200 contains dual CoSine™ System-on-Chips. Each CoSine device is embedded in a Xilinx® Virtex™-II Pro FPGA. Each CoSine device contains two embedded PowerPC™ 405GP devices. The PowerPC processors enable the MM-1200 to be used as a XMC/PMC carrier and memory buffer, as well as a VITA 46 (VPX) based standalone single board computer. In addition to making the PowerPC 405GP processors accessible, each CoSine node also has one multi-ported DDR array, a dedicated 128MB DDR array to each PowerPC processor and FPGA platform FLASH. The CoSine nodes interface with the two mezzanine sites on the MM-1200 by either an XMC or PMC interface.

MM-1600

VMETRO’s MM-1600 is a 6U VPX (VITA 46) intelligent I/O carrier board with dual user programmable Xilinx® Virtex™-4 SX55 FPGAs, dual CoSine System-on-Chips, dual PMC/XMC sites and x4 sRapidIO connectivity. Each CoSine compute node includes dual embedded PowerPC 405GP processors, one multi-ported primary DDR array (up to 1GB), a dedicated 128MB DDR array to each PowerPC processor, four independent 9MB QDR II SRAM arrays local to the Virtex-4 SX55 and FPGA platform FLASH.

MPE730

VMETRO’s MPE730 is a VPX-REDI quad-core processing board with dual mezzanine sites and on-board Serial RapidIO® fabric connectivity. Utilizing dual Freescale Power Architecture MPC8641Ds, the four cores provide significant processing power while still meeting rugged, extended temperature convection and conduction-cooled requirements. Combining this processing power with the flexibility of dual PMC/XMC sites and the Serial RapidIO fabric enables powerful subsystems to be deployed and customized for a variety of applications.

FPE650

The FPE650 is a quad FPGA processor card which combines high performance and high bandwidth I/O in a flexible format. Provided in a 6U VPX (ANSI VITA 46) format, the FPE650 has a large number of multi-Gigabit/sec serial and parallel data links to the backplane as well as FMC (VITA 57) mezzanine sites for direct I/O to the FPGAs without introducing data bottlenecks. Each of the FPGAs include multiple banks of memory to help maximize the capabilities of the Xilinx SX95T, LX155T or FX100T FPGAs - Xilinx’s latest generation family for demanding data processing  applications.

The SBC731 is a VPX-REDI PowerPC™ single board computer with dual mezzanine sites and on-board Serial RapidIO ® and PCI Express ® fabric connectivity.
